THE REAL STORY BEHIND MULAN

Disney marked many generations with their movies, especially Disney princess, but the real version of these movies could be a victory or a real tragedy.

MULAN (ANIMATION MOVIE)

Mulan was produced by Walt Disney feature animation and released in 1998 by Walt Disney Pictures. The story is about ”FA MULAN” the daughter of an aged warrior ”FA ZHOU”, in which she personates of being a man to take her father’s place during hun invasion….

THE REAL STORY

The animation movie is based from an ancient Chinese folk story called ”THE BALLAD OF MULAN”, in which it takes place in the northern Wei dynasty that ruled northern China from 386 to 535. Mulan’s real name is ”HUA MULAN” which means ”Magnolia flower”,”THE BALLAD OF MULAN” is a chinese poem of anonymous origin that contains 360 words, which it depicts the story of Mulan who joined the army in her father’s place who couldn’t join it due to his elderliness impersonated as a male. Thus, there’s no huge differences between the real story and the Disney movie, but many historians don’t believe that Mulan existed in history because there is no evidence to confirm that it is real, but personally I do believe that Mulan existed before because I do trust the idea of any tale has its truth, in which anything got the inspiration from something real. DO VAMPIRES EXIST?

Vampires are constantly associated with the novel of Dracula by the Irish writer Bram stoker, published in 1897, but are vampires myth or verity?

WHAT IS A VAMPIRE?

A vampire is a creature that preys humans by consuming their blood. Vampires typically are pale skin, with huge canines and can’t face the sun it’s said they can’t go in daylight because it can cause them death.

A BRIEF HISTORY

The origin of the word ”Vampire” is from Eastern Europe, but was first appeared in English in 1732. So Dracula was described by Sam Stoker with a long mustache, sharp teeth, thin and with pointed ears in which was living in a castle located in Romania. Sam Stoker wrote the novel from his imagination not from historical features, which was about Harker that escapes the castle after discovering that Dracula was a vampire…. The story was written in a time when stories about the supernatural were popping in Britain.

Vlad Impaler

Vlad Impaler was a 15th century ruler of Wallachian (Romania) he was nicknamed Vlad Dracula because he was drinking the blood of his enemies which were the ottomans, and the Hungarians the number of his victims is about 80,000 people.

ARE VAMPIRES MYTH OR VERITY?

In modern times vampires were myth, fictitious which are originated from Eastern Europe folklore in the 17th and 18th centuries then they become prominent after Sam Stoker published his novel ”DRACULA” in 1897. But there exist people who have an obsession in drinking human blood, in which it’s called ”RENFIELD’S SYNDROME” or ” CLINICAL VAMPIRISM”. So what do you think vampires do exist, or it is just a fictional tale originated from Eastern Europe?.

In a dusky night

I lost myself in glee

Writing you my last letter

Depicting you my woe

Pondering why I’ve adored you from the first time

Expressing my sting

Wailing my vacantness

And decorating pain

LET’S TALK ABOUT GIRL BOSS CULTURE

According to urban dictionary definition of ”Girl boss” the term describe a woman who is self-made, running her own business….. The term was coined by the founder of the fast fashion website ”NASTY GAL” Sophia Amoruso in 2014.

The issue of our era is that things lose their flavors easily, to elaborate it more everything become just a trend including careers, like for instance girl boss culture is a huge example, in which it becomes an urge for some women to dropout college, work behind desk for just being a boss lady even thought being a boss is not their thing, and that’s the problem with ”Girl boss culture” is that horrify work behind desk and descent lifestyle without getting into consideration that everybody has it’s niche, there are some women who desire to be bosses which is great for them, and there are also some women who want to be an employees which is also great for them.

Furthermore, I’ve found online a huge misunderstanding between ”GIRL BOSS”, and ”FEMINISM”, in my regard I believe that there is a huge difference between them. Feminism is about sex equality economically, socially, and politically for all women, in which women around the glob will be able to make their own decisions in life….. So I think there’s nothing to do with the two terms.

WHO INVENTED EXAMS?

I will pass my finals next week, which means I’ve passed this past few two weeks studying hard …… Suddenly, I started wondering who is this endearing, lovable person who created exams?

-HENRY FISCHEL

Henry Fischel was born in Germany 1913, was an American-German professor of eastern languages, and cultures at Indiana University, businessman, and philanthropist. Fischel was also a huge, influential figure of founding the Jewish studies program at Indiana University. Thus, somewhere in the 19th century he created exams to test students ability to use their knowledge, and China was the first country to implement examination in schools. (SO, THANK YOU MISTER FISCHEL FOR THIS ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE)

-THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM BEFORE EXAMS

The educational system before the 19th century was collapsed, many students at the time skipped schools for long periods to take care of family duties….. Rich people took private lessons with tutors, and the majority of students worked with teachers in small groups. The earliest evidence of examination at this era were: Public lecture or oral forms of disputation, questions, and answers or defense.
