MARTYRDOM

You forgot that eyes’s glances

You forgot that pain in my body

You forgot what passion was

You forgot those rainy nights

And those glassy eyes

That eat you without touching you

But in the end of the story

I just keep overthinking about that martyrdom kiss

Did you feel it or just taste it?

  1. An interesting poem I find a little puzzling. I’d like one more element or detail of explanation. However, I see it this way: He forgot about the pain and passion of life needed for rainy days, and alone became a martyr to a last kiss.
