We all heard at least once in our lives that if you really really work hard you will be successful in life and achieve all the things that you want to achieve in your path.

Which is true in a side of” BALANCE”. For example in a week should not hustle 24/7 without sleeping, taking a rest or spending time with your lovely ones and yourself. Should not selfsacrifical for getting done that and this without getting time for our health.

We live in a world that is so fck obbssed with work and hustle culture in general that can be really Toxic. A lot people on earth if a day pass without doing nothing they start be feeling guilty about themselves. Doing nothing sometimes is nessessairy it is freaking okay if the only thing that you did in your day is just breathing.

Personally I see that toxic productivity coming from that toxic world of social media , like everyone have that luxurious lifestyle and everyone is giving advice to young people to work that harder to can build that lifestyle. Wealth= successful which is 💯 Wrong and toxic.

I’m waiting for y’all thoughts down below. //Take care//

  1. Hello, I enjoyed reading your blog. I’m what some people may consider unconventional. Because I refuse to let our society attach the puppet strings to my shoulders and control my thought process. Nowadays some many people are letting our society decide how they should live their life. They can no longer function on their own. It’s time for people to stop being control by someone else way of thinking. What people need to understand just because some people may not eat or sleep because they value money more, doesn’t mean that life is for everybody.

  2. Yes, long working hours have become a way of life for many…and finally most burn out early in life due to associated stress and monotony…breaks are a must in life …break means total disconnection of mind from office…
    Stay blessed 🙏🙏

  3. I’d like to play devil’s advocate here and say that sometimes the hustle is fun. It’s the same way you feel when you push just that little bit more to see what you’re made of. Sometimes it’s not about money or attaching self-worth to productivity, but about discovering who you really are as a person.

But you also have it right in that if people are blindly working just for the sake of it, then that could be pretty unhealthy. Anyway, thanks for this post!

  4. So well said! I think a lot of people are reconsidering ideas of productivity because of the pandemic. One book I recommend is called How To Do Nothing by Jenny Odell. She nails these ideas of toxic productivity

  5. Quite frankly, some bloggers suffer from toxic productivity, with a self-imposed need or drive to post numerous articles or items every day. Or perhaps it’s a toxic need for attention, as if they’re really saying “hey, look at what I have to say” yet again!
